Chaco Sandals: Flip
These flip-flops are remarkable for a couple reasons. The first is that if you are an aggressive recreator like we are, when you inevitably blow out the webbing between your toes, you can actually have these flops repaired owing to the Vibram soles they are fitted with. They are also constructed of a slightly harder material which is less absorbent than leather or other rubbers, which means they clean off much easier. The foot molding is also more athletic than most others we've seen as well.
This is a great toothpaste that combines all the features you want in a single green package. With anticavity and tartar control properties and all natural silica for whitening, you can have bright clean teeth without feeling bad about running so many chemicals down the drain twice a day. Also, we love companies based in Maine!
These pants are the burliest pants we have ever seen. Period. Not only are they constructed with the highest quality enviro-materials, we also expect them to last for a decade of intense usage. These pants are as tough as leather chaps, so if your lifestyle demands outdoor armour, these are a great investment. The pockets are well placed and designed and the vents are ideal. Patagonia's many years of experience shine through in this garment. They are head and shoulder above anything else we have seen in many years of winter activities, from telemark skiing, to ice climbing, to anything else you need indestructible outerwear for, you can't go wrong with the Rubicons.
TerraCycles' All Purpose Cleaner is a great product that goes a few steps beyond most household cleaners in both the quality of the product as well as the packaging. Not only do we feel good about using an all-natural mineral and essential oil based cleaner that effectivly cleans most common spills and grime, but we also love the concept of packaging it in a discarded plastic bottle. Much better in terms of energy demand than actually reprossing the plastic and reforming it, simply putting the cleaner in recovered bottles and using a standard spray top work perfectly. When the bottle is finished, the device could even be resued on another bottle with standard treading. In sum, TerraCycle has produced a great general purpose cleaner with mindful packaging.
